Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. In the same year, she made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise began with her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous hit and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career with ease in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as an effective television director in various series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto for her early years. Then she settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
