Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002, has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten started her career as a journalist at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget documents. While she initially found the work intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. So she purchased an Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. Before selling the business the store, she worked for 18 years building it into a highly successful store. Others followed, and so magazines too. A different hit is the Food Network Television show. The company sells numerous things, from food ingredients cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina did not go to a cooking institute and hasn't worked in restaurants. She is self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward cooking style are well known. Her most well-known recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
